"After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Civil Law from Tokyo Metropolitan University, I joined the technological sales support department at SAP in Japan. As the company was rapidly expanding its business in my home country, I had the opportunity to extend my expertise from sales towards consulting. I became a consultant in charge of implementing systems as team supervisor.
Throughout my professional life, I gradually began wishing to extend my expertise towards business. I thought that if I was competent enough both in business and IT, I could help customers achieve their ultimate goals by supporting business process renovation, and then introducing the IT needed. This is why I chose the Theseus-EDHEC MBA, which places innovation at the core of its courses as well as in the project work, while remaining a business administration programme.
With its intensive ten-month programme structure and spectacular location on the French Riviera, EDHEC Business School was an ideal place for me to learn. I appreciated the possibility to participate in the courses offered by core faculty as well as by many visiting faculty from academic and professional fields from all over the world. Thanks to the relatively small intake, relationships with professors are highly personalized and sharing classes with competitive yet friendly students really helped my self-development. The facilities on the Nice campus were excellent and I always foud help with every kind of problem both on and off campus.
My ultimate goal is to be an executive in a company as well as a member of educational institute, specializing in the innovation of new organizational models and IT. In order to achieve this goal, I strongly believe that I need to be fully competent in these areas and continue to improve myself. The Theseus-EDHEC MBA alumni association has provided us with various learning possibilities, such as the alumni conference, INNOVATION AT THE EDGE; How corporations are riding the next wave to stay on top.
I am positive that my MBA experience will continue to be of benefit throughout my career."
