EDHEC Global MBA Business Trips


The business world is now global. Companies have to deal with both local and international competition, coming from developed as well as emerging economies. The EDHEC Global MBA offers participants the opportunity to view first-hand some of the world's most rapidly evolving economies.

The EDHEC Global MBA curriculum offers two Global Business Trips to give participants a hands-on experience of another culture, economy and competitive context.  All expenses are included in tuition fees with the exception of food, leisure activities and visas.

Through partnerships between EDHEC and local universities and business schools, MBA participants attend a series of lectures on the political and economic environment in the country, together with an overview of the country's history and culture. This theoretical foundation is complemented by company visits where participants get to see first-hand how businesses are adapting to the challenges and opportunities created by our globalized economy. Finally each business trip includes enough time for participants to explore and understand local culture, cuisine and to visit the principal sites.

    The three specialisation tracks of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Finance are currently underway in the EDHEC Global MBA.   • Singapore: The New Face of Asia

    EDHEC Global MBA students in the Global Leadership Track were treated to a balanced view of Singapore during their week’s stay. They learned not only about Singapore’s vast achievements since its independence from Britain in 1963 but also about some of the surprising rules and regulations that have helped foster this growth. “Cultural Intelligence” is a key factor, as MBA participants learned, to navigate through this unique country.

  • Global MBA Participants Visit London for an In-Depth Look at Business Beyond the Crisis

    Finance Track participants of the EDHEC Global MBA visited London for a week-long study trip to take a closer look at the on-going operations in one of the key financial districts of the world. The trip comprised of company visits (Commerzbank, Google...) and a two-day conference on the Financial Crisis and Risk Management held at EDHEC’s London campus with speakers from Citi, Blackrock, KPMG, and NHS.
