

For the first time for the 2011 intake, EDHEC is offering a
Global Business Trip to London, one of the world's most important global financial hubs. This trip is undertaken by all EDHEC Global MBA participants who select its new
Global Finance Track.
The aim of the London business trip is to enable
Global Finance Track participants to hone their finance skills and gain a firsthand understanding of how international finance markets are evolving. The
week-long residential seminar takes place at EDHEC's
London Executive Campus which is ideally situated in the heart of London's financial district, the iconic "City".
The topic of the inaugural London International Finance business trip in April 2012 is '
The Financial Crisis, Systematic Risk and the Future of Capitalism'. Key themes include:
- Corporate strategies in response to the financial crisis.
- The changing regulatory environment.
- Risk management and lessons learnt from the crisis.
- Recruiting and retain talent in the financial services sector.
Speakers include senior executives from
Morgan McKinley,
Blackrock,
KPMG,
Herbert Smith LLP,
Grant Thornton and
Citibank. Company visits include
Morgan Stanley and
Google UK's Finance Department.
NB: All expenses incurred associated with the Global Business Trips are covered by EDHEC with the exception of food and leisure activities.
