MBA participants are often in the process of re-thinking their career orientation and use the MBA programme as a catalyst for changing their career paths, launching an entrepreneurial project or discovering new sectors and locations. To accompany them, EDHEC offers a number of services based on the resources of both the School's careers centre and its alumni network.
Built on 100 years of relations with leading firms throughout the world, the EDHEC Careers Centre has developed its resources and expertise on an international scale and provides numerous services to EDHEC students and alumni. As lifetime members with free access to all services of the EDHEC alumni association, participants can tap into a 20 000-member network present in over 100 different countries to boost their career. While many schools have a careers centre as an annexe for students, EDHEC has actually integrated a tailored careers programme into the MBA curriculum.
The Career Centre organises numerous recruitment events throughout the year to put students in touch with their future employers. Major Career events include the Finance Fair in Lille, the EDHEC Forum in Paris and the International Recruitment Fair in Nice. Last year, these events represented over 1200 student contacts with 150 companies, a number that increases at each event.
EDHEC's career services are complemented by MBA-specific on-line resources like Vault, MBA Exchange, Going Global, Top Consultants, Career Leader and the Carnet Alliance. An online CV Book presenting all the MBA participants' profiles is available for employer reference throughout the year.
